Sunshine's Dance & Cheer Studio has recruited some of the Bay Area's most accomplished and talented dance instructors, each of whom brings their own personal approach to the dance floor. See below who they are:
Ballet & Tutu's & Tap Shoes Instructor
Michelle has been a dancer starting at two years of age to present; ballet has been her passion! Starting from Ronn Guidi’s “baby class” at Oakland Ballet Company, traveling to Dance Dana in the Midwest, back to California for the bulk of her dance education which came from Yukiko Sakakura at Duane Dance Academy in Hayward and getting her Bachelor’s of Art in Dance at San Jose State University in 2007. And she has expanded her experience in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, partnering and tap. Choreographing is “icing on the cake” a teacher gets to see images come to life and experience each person’s contribution to the movement.
Jazz & Tutu's & Tap Shoes Instructor
Rebekah began her dance training at Stage One Dance at the age of 4 with ballet/tap. She fell in love quickly with jazz after watching her older sisters in class. She has earned top awards for solo and group dances at Bay Area competitions. Becka's love for children and passion for dance came together in 2009 when she began teaching for her home studio. She loves inspiring and pushing her students to grow with every class. She is happy to bring her training and experience to Sunshine Dance and Cheer."Dance is the hidden language of the soul." - Martha Graham.
